I play it sometimes, currently on a Level 26 Wizard.
Its not a bad game if you are into games like Everquest or WoW, but what kills it for me is that its so linear.
The only way to progress in RO2 is to follow the quest line, you cant decide for yourself where you are going to level like in RO1.
There isnt an elemental or Racial system either which really dissapointed me, and right now cards an equipment only give stats and attribute bonuses, no special bonuses at all like autospells or racial/elemental modifiers.
Admittedly the game is still in an early state, but if they don't expand on their mechanics and zones I don't think i'll ever really like it.
They are releasing the new Neol Race and WoE next summer, gonna check that out when its here.
I tried it back at the kRO GotW beta times. Didn't like it. And LotS didn't fix the things I didn't like. It's just not my kind of game, I'm afraid. It's not cute at all, and I like cute things...
Besides, I'm very bad at playing 3D games, and it takes away too many resources, preventing me from sitting AFK while working on other things, like I do on RO1...
To add to it, in LotS, I heard they broke the one thing I loved in GotW... They removed that awesome soundtrack from Yoko Kanno :(
RO2: LotS wasn't bad, it just was very linear, like stated earlier. There is too much going in the 3D world of RO that it isn't RO anymore, it's just another MMORPG. I had a Level 23 thief on the SEA server, and the North American server was released a few days ago. The progression is really, really lame.... Go kill this, for this, bring it to me, I give you exp and an item you can wear, until you do this quest to get more exp and a better item than this...
I hated the Prontera music, so I swapped it with RO1's Prontera music. xD
Please read around before making a post! Check the Wiki as well!
A friend of mine spent quit some time configuring a bajillion of proxies in order to play the game from Brazil and, although he got pretty addicted to it at first, he got bored quickly.
Gravity cloned other MMORPGs in a way that RO2 came out generic. No job change tests, weird inventory system that's probably there solely to profit on cash-only expansions. Bleh. I'll stick to TERA for 3D MMORPGs.

Level Up Games, the company that distributes and hosts RO in Brazil, decided to order Gravity to block Brazilian IPs from accessing RO2 NA servers, so we had to trick Steam, the patcher, the launcher and so many layers of protection to actually play the game that few Brazilians managed to even scratch it. Dunno about the current situation, though. Maybe they are selling cash in BRL and giving munnies to LUG now so they don't care anymore.
