I've been searching for something to fill the void Mirai Nikki has left in my soul.. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as my college break is about to begin. Oh, and gimmie your all time favourite anime!

oh man I love deadman wonderland as well, I just wish the ending was better.. if you could even call it an ending :S

I actually enjoyed Bomberman Jetters anime. Except for the ending. The ending was the suckiest sucky thing ever.

Started watching Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, and I must say it's pretty awesome.. although half of the time I don't know wtf is going on haha! It'll deff need another watch through on my end. I'll be sure to check out some of the others you guys have mentioned as well

It's one of my top favourites of all time, be sure to watch Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai too since it's second part of the story explaining it and giving it a closure.

lol necro, just a warning to some of these chinese cartoons:

1. if you watch SAO, stop at ep 15 or you'll be severely disappointed.
2. Don't watch higurashi OVAs or the "alternate" umineko since it doesn't exactly have an ending iirc

seems like you like the same animus as i do so here's my fav list:
baccano (the dub is actually pretty well done here)
durarararararararararararararararararararararararararararararara (i think it may be missing a couple "ra"s here, trrust google more)
another (creepy series, pretty good)
Accel world (same kinda thing with SAO if you liked it)
fate series (stay night, zero etc. has an occult around it)
madoka (pretty mind boggling, also has an occult around it)
clannad (/sob no reason)

also agree with code geass, steins gate and btooooooom

Correction, watch SAO to episode 15, then skip all the way to episode 25 at around 4 minutes into it.

Another really good anime to watch is Steins;Gate, which also has really good re-watch value since watching it over the 2nd and 3rd time still leads to new findings.
